Dentists

Andrew Whitehouse

Dr. Andrew Whitehouse, M.G.D.S., B.D.S, [Lond.] L.D.S., R.C.S. (Eng.) [1984]

Andrew took over the running of Windmill Dental Practice in 2003. He studied dentistry at Guy's Hospital in London, qualifying as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in December 1984. This is also where he met his wife Ginny, who also works at the practice.

Andrew makes sure he keeps up to date with the latest methodologies in dentistry, and is currently studying implantology, the latest technique for replacing missing teeth.

Andrew's philosophy on dentistry is very much focused on prevention being preferable to the cure, with the aim that his patients keep their own teeth for as long as possible.

Ginny Whitehouse

Ginny Whitehouse, B.D.S, L.D.S., R.C.S. (Eng.) [Hons.]

Ginny also studied dentistry at Guy's Hospital, moving to Brighton to begin running a dental practice with Andrew in 1985. She has an Honours degree in Orthodontics and works part-time for Optical Express in Brighton, having originally trained with Boots. Ginny is furthering her career in application of laser dentistry.

Allison lives with her husband Mark (a dentist) and their two young children, Samuel and Eloise.

After Emma qualified as a hygienist in Birmingham in 1992 she moved to London where she worked in private preventive and cosmetic practices. In 2004 Emma moved to Brighton but still travels to London one day a week to work in a practice she has worked at for thirteen years. Emma's bubbly and enthusiastic personality puts patients at ease.

Staff

Grace Williams

Grace Williams

Grace works full time at the practice, and joined us in 2006. She is an integral part of the team and an experienced receptionist, having worked in another dental practice for 3 years prior to joining our team. Her bubbly nature has made her a welcome asset to the practice.

Grace has lived in Southwick all her life. She enjoys travelling and socialising and often goes to music festivals and concerts.
